Our story
Basely Virtual was founded with a straightforward observation: most virtual address providers treat compliance as an afterthought. Budget mailbox services offer an address but no real infrastructure behind it. No identity verification. No compliance monitoring. No HMRC supervision.
We set out to build a different kind of address provider, one with identity verification, AI-powered mail management, and compliance monitoring built into every plan. Not as optional extras, but as the foundation of the service. Our application for HMRC AMLS supervision as a Trust and Company Service Provider is in progress.
When we launch in July 2026, we will serve UK limited companies at every stage, from new founders protecting their home address on day one to established businesses managing multiple entities and director addresses across their group structure.

Our regulatory status
Basely Virtual has applied to HMRC for registration as a Trust and Company Service Provider (TCSP) under the Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Transfer of Funds Regulations 2017 (MLRs 2017). We will not activate services for customers until supervision is granted.
At launch, we will carry out full Anti-Money Laundering (AML) identity verification on every customer before activating services. We will verify government-issued photo ID and proof of address, and for company customers, we will identify beneficial owners and persons with significant control (PSCs).
This is not simply a regulatory box-ticking exercise. We believe that robust customer due diligence protects the integrity of the UK business system, and the reputation of the thousands of legitimate businesses that use our services.

We are based at our UK premises, the same address we provide to our customers. When you use Basely Virtual, your mail is handled by our own team, in our own building.
